Here's his regts war diary

WO 179/3025 1 A. Tk. Regt. Royal Canadian Artillery 1944 Jan.- Dec.

I've also found diaries for 1942 and 1943. I suspect there will be some covering 39,40 and 41 to.

Hello Andy, Thanks for getting back to me. I am unfamiliar with how to get the regts war diary
He went to war in 1942 I believe but I have picture dated 1943 in Ottawa with him on it.

I am in Cassino CWGC cemetery in Apr.

He seems to have been killed in the breakout from Cassino.

I will find his grave and tip my hat to him. Would you like a digital photo?
