    • Location Information: The cemetery, belonging to the Corporation, is in Redcar Lane, South-East of the Railway station. It dates from 1872.

    TREALAW CEMETERY
    RHONDDA (TREALAW) CEMETERY
    • Country: United Kingdom
    • Locality: Glamorganshire
    • Location Information: Rhondda, formerly known as Ystradyfodwg, is seven miles north-west of Pontypridd, where the river Rhondda, flowing through the Rhondda Valley, meets the river Taff. It was a coal-mining district in a heavily industrialised area, and during the early part of the 1939-1945 War was heavily raided by enemy aircraft. Trealaw Cemetery, belonging to the Rhondda Urban District Council, is on the road from Porth to Treherbert.
    • Historical Information: This cemetery was opened in 1881 and contains war graves of both world wars. The burials of the 1914-1918 War are scattered in various parts of this large cemetery, and shortly after the First World War a Cross of Sacrifice was erected at the cemetery entrance. The service men and women who died during the 1939-1945 War and were buried here also lie scattered throughout the cemetery. There are now nearly 70, 1914-1918 and almost 90, 1939-1945 war casualties commemorated in this site.

    • Locality: Buteshire
    • Location Information: From Glasgow take the train to Wemyss Bay, and then the steamer to Rothesay, Bute. On arrival in Rothesay, walk 1 mile south, or there is a local bus via the High Street to the Cemetery, which is located on the Kilchattan Bay Road. Rothesay Cemetery adjoins the High Church of Rothesay, and contains 37 Commonwealth war graves from the two World Wars, and 8 graves of Polish servicemen.

    • Locality: Durham
    • Historical Information: This is West of the village, and belongs to the Rural District Council.

    SALFORD (AGECROFT) CEMETERY
    • Country: United Kingdom
    • Locality: Lancashire
    • Historical Information: The cemetery, opened in 1903, belongs to the Corporation and covers about 20 hectares. Two of the soldiers, whose graves could not be marked by headstones, are commemorated by Special Memorials which bear the subscription "Known to be buried in this cemetery". The great majority of the graves are scattered, but there is a small group of eleven graves in Section 18, and the special memorials are in this group.

    SALFORD (AGECROFT) CEMETERY
    • Country: United Kingdom
    • Locality: Lancashire
    • Location Information: This cemetery, opened in 1857, lies near the Eccles road, and belongs to Salford Corporation. It covers just over 16 hectares and contains war graves of both World Wars. There are 267 burials of the 1914-1918 War, mostly scattered, but there are two small war plots; one is in the Church of England section and the other in the Roman Catholic section. There is a commemorative Screen Wall in each bearing the names of those buried there and there is also a Special Memorial naming 7 casualties whose graves lay unmarked in other parts in the cemetery. The 1939-1945 War burials total 99, these graves, too, are in many different parts of the cemetery.

    SEVENOAKS (GREATNESS PARK) CEMETERY
    • Country: United Kingdom
    • Locality: Kent
    • Historical Information: This cemetery, on the road to Seal, was made in 1906, and belongs to the Urban District Council. In contains 16 War Graves, of which eleven are in two small special plots.
