A cousin of mine has sent me a package with 3 magazines from this Series. They are all original. they seem to be a fairly interesting read. Seems they were writing the History of it as it happened. Anyone come across these before and if so are they a good read?

Got the full set of them somewhere (they're also available on CD-ROM these days), though it must be about 20 years since I opened the box that I kept them (along with my collection of 'War Illustrated' and '20 Years After'). I recall enjoying reading them as a kid (which is NOT when they were first published!!!!) but, as can be expected, they're pretty uber-patriotic and biased. Great for a read but, in many cases, not to be used as a true reference.

Exactly the type of answer I was looking for Dave. Thanks for that
