    Tracey -
To try and trace your Father's medical team or what he was suffering from is an almost impossible task as the medics think that everyone would faint if they they told
the relatives what was wrong.....they are ALL like that - so save your strength - all I can say is that I too was wounded 17th September near Coriano - spent some time at the CCS - Ancona - shipped down to Bari - on a hospital Ship bound for England BUT - they found a surgeon who did skin grafts - so I was thrown off at Catania for surgery etc- rotten lot - I was back amongst it again in the January '45 .....so who was he with to be hit by a Tiger ?

    Cheers

    Hi Steve,

The younger brother and sister of your grandfather are still alive and living in Portchester in Hampshire. Gladys(my mother) and Reg, Steve died a few years ago now, but his children live in Portsmouth. Your brother Mark has my emails details as he contacted me when researching the family tree on Genes Reunited.

    Regards

    Sheila
