    Here are some more:

US Army Center for Military History
    http://www.army.mil/cmh/

Combined Arms Center's Military Review archive
    http://www.leavenworth.army.mil/milrev/

The Military Review is an excellent, if technical, publication. The site is not easy to research, but can be rewarding. The archive goes right back to the 1920s. As an example of what to expect, the June 1943 edition carries articles on the fall of Rangoon, medical problems of jungle warfare and much more. All the articles can be downloaded as pdf files.

Bookmarked 'em both. Leavenworth has that rare book by Polish banker Jean de Bloch, "Is War Possible," who was the only guy to accurately forecast the trench stalemate of World War I, saying hunger and famine would decide the war, and the important weapon would be the shovel. he was right.
