My Dad joined the GLIDER PILOT REGIMENT in 1942 I know he was at HADDENHAM and TILSHEAD, but was RTUd due to his Wife causing trouble for him. At that time the REGIMENT wouldn't stand for messing about, it was a very tough regime, good men were thrown out for not shaving properly or not having the correct haircut. What REGIMENT he went back to I don't know.
