    Not Raedar Peter....Hugh can you tell me where you lifted the photo from - I have seen his face before but can't place him.

    Hello James,
    I have had some photos given to be concerning U-68 - I have an interest.
    This is only a small portion of the photo as I am unsure at this stage who the copyright holder is. The complete photo shows this naval officer meeting Karl-Friedrich Merten commander of U-68 in 1941.

    For anyone interested. I have had confirmation from a source in Germany that this is Admiral Herrmann Densch, the the Commander in Chief NorthSeaForces.
