Still curious about the German "prowess" at Kursk and in Normandy.

Well as a mere junior member I feel I would be insulting your armchair gained knowledge of ww2; but if you like I could set you some homework to complete if you still want to your curiosity satisfied.

My armchair gained knowledge? Cool, you have no clue who I am. But apart from that, I was looking for your reply to the opinion of a former Oberscharführer who was actually there at Kursk and in Normandy (as well as the Balkans and Barbarossa) and commented on your OP. Is that too "armchair for you"?

A bit odd, I quoted the exact words of his reply to your OP. Seems you're looking for excuses to avoid giving a reply to what he said. His opinion does not fit your bubble?

Ok gents, time out. This is only going in one direction like this, so don't let it.

A time out is fine with me, but note that I simply passed on the opinion of a world war II veteran who cared to give his opinion about the OP. In return TS decided to avoid giving a reply and to insult me instead. Also note that for that matter every forum member who did not participate in WW2 only has armchair knowledge so why would "barbed wire" reply to anybody?

I have no problem in you discussing this, but the above is not discussion, it's playground BS.

Could be, I think it would only be fair if TS kept himself from insulting forum members and sticks to giving normal reactions to those who care to reply in his topic, even if he tends not to agree with them or feels a bit reluctant to reply to opinions that do not suit his bubble. I mean, I actually got a reaction from a German veteran and why do I get in return? Childish insults

Happy to take time out all I was doing was responding to the direct quote made by Rumiteaapje; then he brings in a third party quote, which i value by the way.

    TIME OUT
