    Hi Tom,

    Great job - Thank you!

Found more? Were they (Of Australia) or 46/47?

Dave Barlow found me another RAF (DFC) the other day who was from Tasmania.
My CWGC initial search back in 2007 never found him as his wife was NOK (Husband of Catharine Winifred Blom, of Peterborough, Northamptonshire.) and buried at East Bridgford (St. Peter) Churchyard in Nottinghamshire.

Look forward to seeing those and working out who they are.

    Cheers

Thanks for the photos - How did you pull up in the heat?

    This is interesting.

Listed on Runnymede / They have changed them since I did my spreadsheet

As at 2005 Lost Bombers had them on Runnymede as well.

Crashed in the target area. Three are now buried in Hannover War Cemetery and four are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.

I can modestly say that I uncovered the mystery. When I visited Hanover in May 2008 and photographed the "Missing" headstones, I queried it with Terry Denham of the IFTC Project. It transpired that due to a clerical error the CWGC had not inserted the newly found men onto the database for Hanover, hence they were still listed on Runnymede.

  20. Tom - a bit late, I know but you didn't by any chance take a photo of Sgt. D. Churchouse's grave 15.K 13-16 who is buried with other members of the crew of 207 Sqn's Lancaster LM 540 shot down on a mission to Brunswick?
