I'm assuming my Dad brought this beer stein home with him to the UK after the war but I could be wrong. Would anybody know firstly if that is the Lords prayer printed on it and would they have been in production around '45/46?

Hi The sticker on the bottom says 'Western Germany' . I wonder if that would indicate that it was made after West Germany was formed in 1949 Of course 'Western' vs 'West' might mean it was pre 1949 Well, glad I could add clarity!
