Hi Guys,

Can anyone please help by telling me what this document folder is about? I thought it might be to do with an apprentice at a factory involved in aircraft manufacture, but really i know very little about it!! Any advice or enlightenment will be much appreciated!!:)

Cheers, Ned.

It's an apprenticeship contract.
Doesn't say with what company exactly, but it's stated that the employer was the "Bevollmächtigter des Reichsluftfahrtministerium für das Industriepersonal und Kommandeur der Fl[ieger]Tech[nischen] Vorschulen" (that would be something like plenipotentiary of the Air Ministry for industry personnel and commander for Fliegertechnische Vorschule (Pre-training prior to actual technial flight school).
Apprentice was Heinrich Schmidt, notary was Carl Paqué, from Ottweiler, Saar (that's also what the embossing says).

Ned,

Kate has explained well the card and as far as I know, the only aircraft manufacturer in Bremen was Focke Wulf, which had their factory where the current Regional airport is situated, indeed the runway was belonging to the factory, just like Bae at Samlesbury and Warton in Lancashire.

Regards
Tom
