Which British Infantry Regiment were Danish Soldiers and Officers normally allocated to in WWII because of its links with the Danish Royal Family?
Green Howards [ wild guess cos of Danish Cross in cap badge]. You could really say both of them based on their lineage but I think it's the Buffs.. Kent Area Only - KING OF DENMARK HONOURS BUFFS - British Pathe

Danish connection The PWRR is one of only two regiments in the British Army that has a foreign monarch as its Colonel-in-Chief (the other is The Light Dragoons). Queen Margrethe II was previously the Colonel-in-Chief of the Queen's Regiment, continuing a tradition in her family dating back to the appointment of King Frederick VIII as the Colonel-in-Chief of The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment), one of the ancestor regiments of the PWRR, in 1906. Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Just for waffles sake. There are 2 other regiments we could mention with a Danish connection. Princess Anne of Denmark's Regiment of Foot became The King's (Liverpool) The Princess Anne of Denmark's Regiment of Dragoons became 4th Queen's Own Hussars wowtank Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment They didnt exist in WW2, which is what the question was about.
