    Hotel de Ville, Brienne-le Chateau, where a very young Napoleon (the statue) did his first military training at the Military School.

    Who's memorial was paid for by a subscription, originally started by the RA, Woolwich, on the day they heard the subject had died and it's said every soldier in the British Army had to contribute a day's pay to the fund (whether that last bit is true, false, compulsory or they voted for it - I'm not sure!)

    I believe it once had no name and was sometimes mistaken for Wellington. There is another statue in the former United Service Club, which should still be there as the new owners agreed to preserve such items.
