I've just seen your email to the forum admin account, found it in the spam folder. I'll quote it here so other members maybe able to help. When I saw this thread the other day I wasn't sure what you meant by CGI as I was thinking of the computer generated images. Have edited your Father's name into the thread title & corrected CGI to GCI. Is this him ? Owen Thank you for retrieving my initial communication and correcting the transposition in my second. Is there a view that the efforts, successes and sacrifices of these units might be included in future anniversary celebrations? I stayed in Sainte-Mere-Eglise this year and found a solitary radio operator and equipment from HMS Black Prince as the only representative of the contributions made by British forces to the Omaha and Utah sectors of Operation Overlord. Would there be support for doing more? Regards Malcolm Eckersall
