I know there was a thread started by Drew5233 only 2 or 3 months ago offering photos from Gaza War Cemetery (http://ww2talk.com/forums/topic/52621-cwgc-gaza-war-cemetery-palestine/?hl=%2Bgaza+%2Bwar), but I have now received an offer of any further photographs from that Cemetery from someone that works for the CWGC. So if you missed out on any from the previous thread, or you have any 'new' names then please add them to this thread. He has also offered photos from Deir el Belah War Cemetery, even rarer to get photos from there than at Gaza. I will keep this offer open for upto 2 weeks before sending him the accrued list, so get listing. Tony

I know I have picked up this thread extremely late, but I would be so delighted for a picture of a grave from Deir El Belah Cemetary Sgt Michael Carmichael Plot A.148 died 23/04/1917 Army Vetinary Corps Or if anyone can let me know who to contact at the cemetary and I would pay them for a photo thank you
Lynda, dont worry about paying. My contact has promised all photos, which he will take when he can. Just a case of sitting back and waiting I'm afraid. Tony
Tony, missed the cut, no doubt (been travelling), but just in case... From Deir El Belah B142 Richards/W London Regiment (London Irish Rifles) 15/05/1918 best
Fortunately you havent missed the cut Mr bexley, as he is doing Gaza first so I have sent him the name you have requested. He has informed me that he has started taking the photos at Gaza, but how long it will take him to take them all is unknown, as he is doing some each day when he finishes work. He does actually work for the CWGC, so I for one wouldnt expect him to detract from the fine work he does for them just so we can get a few photographs. We have to remember that the CWGC's primary objective is remembrance, and that will, and should, always come first. Here endeth the lesson!
Tony, Many thanks for passing on my request - it was a little bit opportunistic to add a photo to the London Irish Rifles Regimental archives. Having visited about 30 CWGC cemeteries in France,Tunisia and Italy, I never fail to be overwhelmed and moved by the work undertaken by the local teams.. it's quite remarkable indeed and I try to thank the faithful men and women personally when I visit...please pass on my sincerest thanks to your contact in Gaza, and especially so considering the perilous nature of that part of Palestine. best wishes again,
