Hmm. Cheers for that, Adam. Does sound a tough one. Must admit, it's the Posters that generally attract me. I'm no 'Buff' and so a picture of a plane or ~ dare I say it?! ~ a tank, eg. would be just that, to me.

If and when ye ever do get round to sorting it, perhaps a sub gallery of Posters ....? I have a dreadfully slow connection, but I'd still dedicate some serious time to looking at those. They just seem to fascinate me.

Any New word from the bosses here? What Is the problem? What Might be toward the solution? Any cause for hope?

I promise, just one comment and only while the matter is being discussed .

I do appreciate that fixing these things take lots of bucks and I am not about to offer to help out but if I can make just one point ?

Scrap it ( so it stops infuriating Steve G and others) and then have a look to see if something similar but much simpler could be tacked on to the works.

IF this could be achieved dare I suggest that no image should be allowed if it doesn't have a descriptive caption.

I still live in hopes that someone, one day, will give me the background to this greatly emotive picture that I once spotted in the Gallery that Leee W was unable to identify for me.

 

That's in good hands obviously, and people don't have the time for everything, so keep up the good work, we can wait!

Pity it's not just as simple as needing somewhere to put it all. Only, I hire a fair sized chunk of cyber space and all I have on it is a few simple pages ~ my business site.

Saying that; I wouldn't know how to get anything else up there. Mate uploaded my site for me.

Sorry to have kicked off about the beleaguered Gallery again so soon. It was a knee jerk thing of the semi unconscious nervous system. Just seconds before the spirit of John Jameson sped me off to sleep!

Both forums have shown that they can quite happily co-exist and indeed many members are signed up to the two and contribute on both!! Different flavor and outlook but both dedicated to the furthering of interest in WW2. A win-win situation I'd say!

 

Sorry if this has been aired before but anyone know when the Gallery will be working?
