Gallery Watermark

Hello,

I have just had an e-mail from a member and it appears our images in the gallery are being linked to other sites, personally I dont mind as long as they ask, after all its our bandwidth being used.

However a lot of pictures in the gallery are personal to our members and certainly belong to them in their own right, for this reason more than anything I intend to put a water mark in the images to discourage hot linking and of course to stop others passing the images off as their own.

Unless any one has any concerns I will do this either this evening or tomorrow.

I cant put watermarks on for every single person so I suggest I simply put

"ww2talk.com" on the bottom right, at least it offers a bit of protection.

Open to any other ideas that you may have.

Sounds fine to me Lee - at least this may encourage traffic from elsewhere

I am glad that the images will be protected as the photo of my uncle is the only thing we have of him. I do not really want someone else claiming him!
