    On a WW1/WW2 training ground I found these copper sheets with the inscription saying G.C.FIELD. Found a few in the ground. Any clues what they were used for?. The dimensions are 4"X 3".

    It might be worth letting us know where the training ground was geographically, and also to upload some images of the sheets

    It was in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England. Says file too large!? Just one photo!? Is there an email address I can send them to?
