    marcus69x I love WW2 meah!!!

Being from South Africa, where nothing is free unless you steal it, this makes me wonder how it works.

I take it that free DVD's are passed out? Or are they coupon likethingys.

    Jeeps you guys are lucky.

Hi Leonvdm. You cut out a coupon from the newspaper then take it to your local shop who has loads of the DVDs, then exchange it.

It's not exactly free because you have to buy the newspaper first. Unless you pinch it off your mam and dad. :)

I've got my Sister to collect the vouchers, so if you know of someone who wants the set, let me know and they can have the vouchers to post off themselves.

    Ok Phil <Military Cross>

I finally have all fourteen DVD's for you. They weigh around the 400g mark so what do you want me to do with them post wise? The cost of the films is £9.60 + postage.

    Cheers

    Well done Drew. Good man.

I remember Owen doing this for a few people on here. Sent me a set. Cheers Owen.

I think it's good that strangers talking over the net can do stuff like this for each other.

    Spot on.

Still got the vouchers, so if any of our non UK members want the DVD's, let me know. I can send off for them and make the necessary arrangements to forward them on.

Free World War II In Colour DVD collection for every reader!

Featuring original footage transformed into colour using new technology, satellite-mapping, informative graphics and newly released documents, this glorious series features a full account of the greatest struggle this country has ever seen, all in never before seen colour footage.

On Saturday April 17, the first disc in the collection is The Gathering Storm.

Think I may get these myself !

In today's paper it states "Never before seen on DVD" (my emphasis). I expected this to be a DVD version of the ITV series from about eight or so years ago with a similar title - think it ran to about 4 episodes of perhaps one hour each but was original colour footage.
Does anyone know if this is just "colorized" black & White film or what?
I have bought the first one but it is the wrong disc [should be "the gathering storm" but it's about the invasion of Russia]
