Free Photo Restoration

Discussion in 'Photo Restoration' started by Spirit of Dunkirk, Nov 10, 2013.

  1. Evening,

I'm currently running a weekly offer whereby I'll restore a photo free of charge.

I have a keen interest in old photos from World War 2 so it would be great to have regular submissions from that era.

I take great pleasure in restoring old war photos and discovering the history/story behind them so I'll always look favourably on submissions from this site.

I look forward to receiving some of your damaged photos. You can send through by clicking on the signature link below.

    Kind regards

Oh dear..............Red Rose has resurfaced as Spirit of Dunkirk subsequent to being discharged following post 13 in this previous thread:

Links in post 12 of the above thread and the link in post 1 of this thread both take you back to the same site.

  3. I've had a few photos sent through today. Just to clarify, I'll let the free photo winner know each Wednesday.

  4. Here's a clip those wanting to have a go at restoring their own photos will find useful. For those starting out the GIMP program isn't far off photoshop and it's free.

  5. I'd love to hear from anyone who's had a go at restoring their own photos and whether they found the video tutorial useful?
