    Hi,
    Only their catalogue is free to browse. You can attend and view but you need an appointment and whilst for a fee of Ten pounds you can in theory use a digital camera in reality they will not let you use it on the DLI records. They will charge £7 plus for each photo request and 50p a sheet for photo copying .Micro Fiche copying machine is also 50p per page. The DRO will like the Museum be looking for a new home if the Labour council plans for a move to a more modern purpose built building are approved. They made such a song and dance about going online but the result in practice was very disappointing :(

    Many catalogue indexes of museums / archives are online which can be very useful and cut down research time.
