    can any one help with a bit of research ? I am trying to help my mum who is blind find out more about her fathers war time movements. other than a name i have date of birth 23/09/1908 he survived the war but refused to discuss it with anyone. I have a number that my mum calls his army number 11269213 not sure if this is correct. we do know he was on the ack ack guns in bexley london for a while and also went to belgium at some point. But thats all we know.

    Tracey,
    This is your father's entry in the Royal Artillery enlistment records. It confirms his service number and that he was in a Heavy Anti-Aircraft unit. He joined up in 1941 and was transferred to the Army reserve on 15th May 1946.
