    Hello
    Have had to get a new password. mislaid my last one.reason for coming back on the splendid site.
    does any-one remember the war story posted on my uncle Fred WALTON.ON THIS SITE.well am reporting Fred walton sadly passed away midnight 13th june.there is a saying .
    old soldiers never die. they stay in our memories for ever.a shining light has sadly dimmed. for me.
    thank you for allowing his story to be posted on here.
    Fred Walton.
    born 1st august 1916
    7TH ROYAL TANK REGIMENT.
    Sadly belive my uncle was the only remaining member of the 1937.left.
