Fraternization with the locals.

Regarding moving into previously held camps of the enemy - during a bad storm and fading light we were moving into position as we thought and noticed an Officer going berserk and gesticulating like mad as obviously we were doing

something wrong so it was "Driver Halt" as we tried to figure out what we were supposed to be doing .....suddenly the gesticulating Officer disappeared....he had found the German's latrine which they had forgotten to back fill before leaving -

we couldn't help him as we were in hysterics...so it was " Driver Advance ".....never did find out who it was...
