    Hi All

Not to sure where to place this request, if it needs moving can one of the moderators be kind enough to do so.

Has anyone any information on the railway that was in use at Fovant Camp, Hampshire?

I have been asked if I know anything from a fellow railway modeller who has a desire to make a model of the railway. So far all I have been able to find is there was a railway from Dinton station to the camp. Most of the information I have seen about the camp related to the various units posted there cutting their cap badges into the chalk in WW1 and in WW2 them being covered over to hide them from German bombers.

    Thank you

    Clive

    Thanks Wills.

It gives a good background to the railways history.
