Sadly i have just learnt that regular forum member David 'Izzy' Irving passed away at the end of July aged 46

Izzy was a avid researcher or both WW1 and WW2 casualties speciallising in his local area of Halewood.

Izzy had been ill for a long time, and had battled with Cancer for over 20 years, but kept cheerful to the end, and continued to work shifts for as long as he could.

Dave leaves a wife and 3 children

    RIP 'Izzy'

Time and tide waits for none of us
It marches onwards past us all
For some the path is strewn with rocks
Wary we tread, hoping not to fall
For some time runs faster than we might wish
Still we should all stand tall
Doing the very best we can
Until we finally hear the call...
