Sadly i have just learnt that regular forum member David 'Izzy' Irving passed away at the end of July aged 46 Izzy was a avid researcher or both WW1 and WW2 casualties speciallising in his local area of Halewood. Izzy had been ill for a long time, and had battled with Cancer for over 20 years, but kept cheerful to the end, and continued to work shifts for as long as he could. Dave leaves a wife and 3 children RIP 'Izzy'
Thanks for passing on the sad news, Phil. A sensible chap, with a respectable list of solid threads & helpful answers left. Condolences to his friends & family. ~A
I see that he was also held in high esteem by this Great War forum. Izzy - Forum Pals - Great War Forum With much respect Ron Ps I have now posted a link to this thread on the Great War forum
