Does anybody have any information on Carlingnose Army Camp? There is a coastal battery re 1st world war which was part of the Forth Defences, Inner, Carlingnose Battery. Looking for information on the army camp directly behind which housed various troops. My father started his war here (2nd WW) as a Royal Engineer who was transferred across to Cramond Island in the River Forth to work on the defences etc.
