So, in brief, he fraudulently 'acquired' dozens of bits of heavy kit, used MoD facilities and kit to store and transport them, and then sold them on to unsuspecting buyers for personal gain. Suspended sentence seems very lenient in these circumstances....
I thought that seemed a bit mild too. 'Impressive levels of fraud' the impression, but I really haven't dug into the case.
The real punishment is getting barred from a cushy job with the MoD. They wouldn't want someone there with his track record of actually procuring tanks.
