    Hi all,

Just a heads up for anyone interested that a short series 2 of this podcast has started and I can find no mention of it on the forum so I thought I would post to let people know about it.

It's a podcast about - as far as I can recall all Allied - POW escapes in WW2. The hosts are Dave (the history buff) and Dave (the tech geek) although sadly the latter Dave passed away due to COVID this past year and the second series is dedicated to him.

There were a dozen episodes in the first series, starting with two episodes related to the "wooden horse" escape, and series 2 has started with an abbreviated episode about the Earl of Cardigan, who wrote about his escape in "I Walked Alone". It's just generally an entertaining listen. If you know a lot about these escapes I don't suppose you will learn anything new, but as it's NOT something I have studied I have enjoyed it quite a bit.

I think it's available whereever you get podcasts. If you need to do a google search, searching for "For you the war is over podcast" is probably a good way to go.
