Hello Michael,

Please find attached the Memorial from inside St Peters Church Earley,Reading Berkshire.There is a Memorial outside but without names,I also placed a British Legion Cross against the Memorial for you.

on 01 November 1944
Son of William Holland Saunders and Nellie Saunders, of Earley, Berkshire.
Remembered with honour

Clive what can i say that is absoloutely brilliant thank you very much,i whish granda was still alive to show him he would be very grateful to you it was his one wish to see Captain Saunders name on a memorial i will have to send these pictures to my uncle who as searched for his name also . i am going to be for ever grateful to you thank you very much

A lot of us have said the same thing. Why did we not talk to our relatives when they were alive. But that was no guarantee that they wanted to talk about what they had seen and experienced.
