I'm going to be in Florence at the end of the month (27-29th)and will hopefully make it out to the Florence War Cemetery - does anyone want any photos or for me to place a cross on any graves (I've just ordered a few).

Cant guarantee I'll get there but I will try.

    Regards

    Alistair

    Hi Alistair,

    Thank you for the offer.

I have the headstones of my RAAF lads however a Hi-Res general shot of the cemetery and headstones would be great.

    Have a great trip!

    Cheers

I've got a list made up and will add any more names that come - I'll check my email right up til I go to the cemetery.

Geoff, I'll get some general photos to go along with the ones Lesley has provided (you can never have too many photos) - are you happy with the grave photos you have or do you want any redone?

    Cheers

    Alistair

    Hi Alistair,

The headstone photo's have already been re-done in Hi-Res as the first lot were in bright sunshine and difficult to read.

The general shots would be great.

    Cheers

    Alistair,

Thank you for this offer, I would appreciate an image of the grave of:

    William A MacMurray, K49865, grave VI. A. 11.

    And of those either side.

Quick prompt, plan going tomorrow afternoon so time for any late requests, only getting connected in the hotels at the moment, so about lunch time will be my last check on here

    Cheers

Made it along and hopefully got them all, will post when I'm home. It's an immaculate cemetery in a beautiful location, hills behind and the Arno running by, the sun was baking and while I was wilting the grass and flowers couldn't have been better, I know CWGC cemeteries are always well maintained but this seemed a step above so well done to the gardeners
