Swindon was gridlocked due to floods and vehicle breakdowns. We suspended mail collections as we couldn't move. Some people had flooded houses and had to go home. Our garage had inch or so of water, nothing compared to what others had, poor buggers.

Y'all all please stay safe and away from flood waters. And for heavens sake, don't try to drive through flowing water in your vehicles. A foot of water is more than enough to unsettle an automobile and wash you away.

Its the other side of the Pennines that are getting it bad. However..... (RANT ALERT) You know how they are all complaining the ground is saturated hence the floods? Recall all of those roadside ditches we used to have? You know, the ones that used to let the ground water drain away? The ones they let silt up then widened the road over? Yeah, precisely. Twonks.
The As If set? Bad Lee! Quite a lot to see actually, but we all know he'll end up trying to find the Hollyoaks set.
Holyoaks set? Teen soap akin to Neighbours or Home & Away (without the sun and beaches) set in the fictional part of Chester called Hollyoaks. Gawd awful programme.

Ah, so just like Home & Away and Neighbours then?! H&A has a habit of running late on Ch 7 so I often catch the end of it and have a chuckle at the lack of clothes some of the girls get around in. My wife quite likes Neighbours and incessantly takes the piss out of them while she's watching it and, to be honest, I've never watched it at all until recently and actually find it half an hour where I can switch my brain off!
