    Yo,

A couple of originals maybe, pretty much as is. See name for boxes.

A Vermughen compare - not the best:

ThIt was the penultimate one from box 303 Part 2, thanks a lot, I'll also take a look at the other collections you mentioned. The collections are really huge, and it's sometimes difficult to see where the photos were taken. I think I'll have to georeference them all by taking a fairly simple basic photo and placing the others around it. It's going to be tedious, but I think it's a great resource for my work, many thanks !

Indeed, I read the story of these people who took in the paratroopers. Mr Vermughen paid for it with his life and the farm disappeared. Perhaps there are still traces visible on LiDar today. I'll look into it.

Thank you for mentioning these documents, they may all be useful. There are so many different sources and references that it's difficult to think of everything!
It will be complicated if they are not available online, but with a bit of luck someone may have already worked on them and published them. I'll put this information on my list and try to see if I can find them somewhere. Thanks you Rob!

This is a photo taken above Cabourg, overlooking the river valley like the other one. I've annotated it so you can see it more clearly

I like it because it shows the flooded marshes, but you can still see the Dives, the Divette, and the Grand Canal, which helps you get your bearings.
