Fireworks in Wartime

    As it's Bonfire Night I thought I would share an interesting article about the use of fireworks in wartime.

    I didn't realise there were indoor fireworks at the time, and apparently these can still be bought today - scary thought! I prefer to see them outside!

    Did Paradummies have fireworks attached to them? I always ass-u-me-ed they did because of "The Longest Day" but I can't find any reference to firecrackers on the net.

    The Brocks Fireworks firm were involved in bomb disposal research work, including experiments with burning out UXB's fillings.
