    Lovely stuff.
So far particularly enjoyed seeing the completely familiar to me Southsea common with the variation of AA guns deployed on it and this film of a Smith gun being deployed from a tiny Austin. Don't think I've ever seen film of one before.
    Cheers,
    Adam.

I remember about 15 years ago the South Queensferry Rotary Club re-released the old RAF Film Unit's re-enactment of the first air raid on the Forth on 16/10/1939. I managed to get a copy of it.
The only quibble is that they used HEIIIs, rather than JU88A1s, but hey......
I love the bit about the aftermath of the raid, when this old dear comes into the room and says to her husband; "there's a young man from the air force wants to know if he can put a barrage balloon in our garden"!
