    Hello All

My first event of the year has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus.

No Mans Land. In north Wales.

    Anyone else's events being cancelled.

Let's not loose our heads chaps and keep a stiff upper lip about this Virus lark

    Keep calm and carry on

At the moment I would imagine all events will be postponed or sadly cancelled. With the larger planned events for this year, I would say the only real hope would be to attempt to bring all commemorations together around the time of VJ Day on the 15th August. Of course this is assuming we have come through the worst of the current situation.

Given that some of those who might feel the greatest pressure to attend the commemorations are those who because of their age are at greatest risk from the disease it would seem eminently sensible to delay or cancel such events. They are after all survivors of the events being commemorated and placing them at resulting risk seems less than sensible

I went to a funeral today, that was held out of doors at a church. Actually preferred it much over others that had been to. None of that crappy organ music punishing my ears.
