No England but what the hell. I've got Portugal in the works sweepstake. Who's gonna win? First matches kick off this evening. euro2008.uefa.com - Home Page
As ever I will waste my money on the Dutch. Love their national team but they always break my heart!!!!
I'm strange. I can't support any other team except England in the football but in F1 I support a Pole (Robert Kubica) & a Finn (Heikki Kovalainen) not Lewis. I won't be bothering to get into Euro 2008.
Seeing I support Scotland I've, like the English and Welsh supporters, had to choose another team. However, being greedy, I've gone for a few!! France (the Auld Alliance). Holland. Germany. Surely ONE of them must win?
Last time I checked Italy and spain were tied for second behind Germany as favorites to win. Germany looked ok yesterday but that score coould have 4-0 or 2-2 as easily as it was 2-0. Looking forward to today's matches. With France, Italy, and Holland in the same group one is definately to be eliminated before the next round. My predictions for today are France 2-0 over Romania and Italy 2-1 over the Dutch. :p
What can I say, Ive go for the best, and have heard that a lot of British vote for Orange, and as we play football and Italy as ever plays defending we can have them. For F1 Lewis need a new pair of specs, it was beautiful RED LIGHT
Needless to say but ... I am a happy bunny today. Did feel a little sorry for Lukas Podolski, he must have divided loyalties ... my family has connections to Gliwice and NRW too, so he was bound to be my lucky mascot. Husband will be shouting Allez les Bleus! d
If the trouble the other night had been caused by England fans, then there would be calls for England to be banned. But nothing said about Poles & Germans. AFP: Over 200 arrested in Austria during Euro 2008 matches Over 200 people were arrested on Sunday in Austria on the second day of Euro 2008, including 157 mostly German fans in Klagenfurt
Holland 3 Italy 0. Outstanding result, GH. Dont worry now they have beaten the Italians and put themselves in a nice position, one of them will walk out of the camp citing "differences" with the manager and screw it all up!

No problems in the dutch camp, they know thet are good, but keep reminding themselves that it still along way to go. Arjan Robben is doing oke now, and hopefully also Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, lets hope they give the french also a little spankin
