Enfield III semi-auto?

    I saw this rifle on the cover of a book as I was passing through a book store. I paged through it for four or five minutes but couldn't find it inside and there was no index. Anyone know what it is?

    Looks like a Turner Conversion but the pistol grip fwd of the wrist and rear of bolt arrangement is not shown on the Forgotten Weapons example.

    First thought was a M1915 Howell Automatic Rifle Conversion.
    In fact it is a Charlton automatic Rifle of New Zealand origin:

    It is, to be quite precise, an "Australian Electrolux Charlton".
