I know I'm gonna sound thick guys, but why would rolling stock used on the train system in Egypt use the letters ESR to stand for Egyptian Sea Rescue or Equipment Status Reporting, when the exact same letters were used for EGYPTIAN STATE RAILWAYS? Might that not lead to confusion? And we know that ESR stood for Eqyptian State Railways, because it has been referenced as such all over the web in military histories (e.g. the BBCs People's history site or the NZTEC site) and in countless trainspotter sites. Sorry, just trying to figure out why it would be duplicated.

Reading again it seems he is looking for another meaning for the "S"? Maybe H2H will explain his reasoning.
Couldn't you spot my tongue sticking in my cheek? Sorry, I was too busy trying to get my own head out of my arse
