All of these men died during the assault on Bardia, which ended with the surrender of the German-Italian garrison, which interestingly included the milestone of this being the first time in World War 2 that a German general surrendered his command. A great example that was to be followed by many more, but not until after a lot more lives had been lost. All the best Andreas
