Hi all, Came across this site looking for some info. http://www.faqs.org/qa/qa-6648.html This is the result from only one question - Pity about some of the answers. Any comments? At least my 2 daughters know why their grandfather enlisted - His injuries at Tobruk. What effect a decision to fight had on their lives & freedom today. I am bouyed by the resurgance of youth interest in the Anzac day parades around Australia. The RSL & the government are getting the message out there. The 90th anniversary of Gallipoli and the televised remembrance was quite moving.
WOW some of those answers boggle the mind. Ireland was an axis power??? Then think of all those traitorous generals fighting on the Allied side, Alexander, Montgomery, Dorman-Smith etc. Regds Bill
