US reporter Edward Murrow on London and the UK at war, from Dunkirk onwards. A retrospective from 1959: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p008qcdh Rather good.
I've just watched this on BBCiplayer. And agree. Especially interesting to see and hear eg Selwyn Lloyd on Britain's dependence on the Commonwealth in those days. And Frank Cousins on the frequent strikes. Often blamed on Russian communists.
