Eagles on different countries insignia

    Went to a birds of prey place today.
    Got me thinking of how often the eagle is portrayed in military insignia of nearly every country.
    Thinking we need a more light hearted thread where everyone can chip in, I'm going to start a thread where we can all add images of military insignia featuring eagles.

    I'll start with this one, after all they started it....

    I've always thought the Polish eagle looked more like a chicken.

    I dunno.

    SPQR and all that. Possibly the only surviving Aquila, perhaps... (Really not sure on that score. Thought I'd seen others, but haven't checked too deeply.)
