I am sure there are some Kiwis there if you have the time and there arent too many. I would be really grateful thanks Philip.

shall I post them here, or email to you ?

All being well I hope to be visiting Durnbach myself next April and therefore will be happy to take any photos required.

Just leave details on this thread and I will pick them up during the coming months.

    Ron,

I have two from my local memorial, if you would be so kind:
    Edwin Thomas Weaver 3.K.6 and
    Kenneth George Greathead 1.j.9

Edwin was in the SAS involved in Operation Loyton. Kenneth, I dont know much about yet.

    Thanks in advance,

    Keith

Back from a little trip to germany, had an interesting talk with the headgardener from yes, SOUTH AFRICA.
Guys I am sorry, but haven't been able to lay flowers on both graves, because there aren't any flowers shops around just like in the Netherlands, have place a little candle on them.

Phil, Thanks for the tribute from my family, I heard from my Mum that Fred was a talented Pianist and had to play very serious music by his mother, but when she left the room it was not uncommon for him to be heard playing Jazz, He was a favourite with the Officers Mess by keeping up their morale playing the piano.

Final call if anyone else requires a headstone photo.

I will be at Durnbach before the end of April
