A rather interesting bit of silent footage depicting a French film crew making a film on the subject, does anyone know which film?

    Afternoon all,

I felt I ought to mention a very good film I saw on DVD last night:
'The Army of Crime'. There are several good reviews out there and I won't try and compete with them but can honestly say it is one of the best 'war' films I have seen for several years. It deals with a rather touchy subject in a very full-on way; tender souls may find some scenes a little too strong. Highly recommended. It was a toss-up in the shop between this and 'Trobruk'; that will have to wait for another weekend.

The film is Week-end à Zuydcoote, 1964 I have a feeling lots of clips in this film have been mixed in with the real footage ever since it was made , lots now on internet and even Pathe. I've always had my doubts about the Dunkirk clip with the Vickers mg blasting away on a fishing boat while soldiers are pulled over the side , which I can't find now , but think is in clips above !
Here are stills from the movie with lots of interesting vehicles (shame about the CMP's ) ;-
