    Sorry about the poor quality of some of these, all done in a hurry in the atrocious weather. But, at least we know there is a memorial, and, where it is. Hope for a return visit soon.

    Hi Stefan, This Statue / Memorial is along the Dover seafront, Marine Parade. I only knew of the Channel Dash Memorial, but saw the two others that I've posted up a few yards away.
    All three are on the same side of the road. The Seaman is looking out to the sea, behind me.

    I posted some pics of it on here a few years ago. I think mine were of him covered in seagull poo. Your picture of the weather explains why he looks so clean :lol:
