    Hi all,
I just wanted to say thank you very much. Douglas Byng Wiltshire was my great uncle . My dad will be over the moon with this information. I apologise for taking so long to dial into this conversation. Thanks for posting those photos & information . I’m trying to track down his dog tags. I know that sounds like a needle in the haystack but 14,000 dog tags of that era have recently been unearthed . I’ve been told they’ve opened up a Facebook page where if you have any details of an army number if they’ve got the dog tag They’ll send it to you. Once again thanks very much have a great Christmas

    Hi Frank.

My Name is Gary Cross ( formally 24679145 L/cpl RRW & 1 DERR. Uncle Doug Wiltshire is my Great uncle. My dad( ex South Wales Borderer)Lenard Cross at 86 years old wants to know what happened to his uncle Doug at Dunkirk. I joined ww2talk and very gladly found your details and your postings . I’m intrigued to know how your related to him/ us. It could be that I asked you to post that message as I’m a former pro rugby player with memory capacity of a sock and have forgotten about it. I’m hoping not.
I look very much to hearing from you.

    Kind Regards
    Gary Cross
