I had nothing better to do than have another look at his website, it sort of draws you in like a moth to a light bulb. Also to see what he has added about me this time, I was disappointed to say the least, no update.

However a further meandre around his site, and shock there it is !!!!

He has been claiming to have been a medic, I can say this is not true, he is/was in fact a Dr !!!! Yes a Dr.

Dr Who I hear you say, and in reply I say exactly, the man is a Time Lord, which would answer all the queries.

Gwen Stone worked at the Stork Hotel, Liverpool, for 3 years in WW2, before joining the forces. Mrs Stone submitted two stories, but there's not even a whisper of the hotel's famous guest.

Williams doesn't irk me at all, he's far too pathetic. But his allegations on Bader and attempts to claim vet status as some sort of justification are doubly pathetic. Not that he's any real veteran, just a REMF.

Thanks for the invite, though I hope this is not an "attack" Williams thread, but a rebuttal of a rather dishonourable attack on a war hero, discussion on the lack of honesty shown by the author of that attack, with a bit of badinage on the side. The fact is that some fairly basic research here has shown Williams to be a completely unreliable witness and his slurs on Bader and attacks on anyone questioning his story are therefore unjustified.

Admittedly I've only posted recently, but have been a member for a little while, like webpilot the spread of topics is interesting and I have contributed to the odd one or two.

It appears that our secret is out, but luckily he has promised not to venture here :-

NEW GOINGS ON AT YET ANOTHER FORUM

Mr. Sewer (EN830) and his henchman the ubiquitous WEB PILOT have now both found the heat in the AVIATION FORUM kitchen too hot to handle and have decamped to another Forum. This Forum, I won't even bother to mention by name but I will tell you that it seems to be composed of a similar group of NEO-NAZIS as is the AVIATION FORUM.

In this Forum however, the "Armchair Generals" ACTUALLY have rankings like Colonel, Major, Captain and Sergeant etc - this really has to be Cloud Cuckoo Wannabe Land!

Both EN830 aka GOOD TIME GIRL and WEB-PILOT must be living incredibly boring, frustrating and dull lives as, between them, they have spent hours or perhaps days filling SEVEN pages of their new Forum home with invective, insults, mud slinging, misinformation and a good deal of venom brought about I suspect, by both their personal shortcomings and lack of achievements.
Don't they have a life outside of the Forum?

I HAVE NOT POSTED TO THIS FORUM AND NEVER WILL.

There seem to be at least two people on this Forum that may have some decency and dignity and, who in their small way have come to my aid. I thank them for their display of real manhood.

I would like to thank Mr Williams, because of him I’ve found new websites and picked up books I hadn’t read in years. All to get the information and facts that he could not have met Douglas Bader, during the Liverpool “Blitz” in 1942.

 

I'd like to second Owen's Invitation. Welcome to the forum and plwase jump straight into the other topics.

But maybe it's time to leave this thread alone.

Mr. William's claims have been questioned with hard fact and research, and lets please leave it there for individuals to make up their own minds.
