    Guys,

A guy l know has the training documents for this pilot.

Started out as Sgt Donald Sidney Pinks No. 1386125, promoted 14th March 1942 to P/O Service No. 122235 and from F/O to F/Lt 14th March 1944, see here:-

Awarded DFC 8th September 1944 whilst with 255 Squadron here,

14-5-44 Ju88 destroyed, Sidi Barrani. 255 Sqn, May 15, 0421, anti-recce patrol, area of `Moustache'. F/O Donald Sidney Pinks (p) + F/Sgt Maurice Noble (RO), Beaufighter VIf (no serial given).

    Then nothing.

It would be good if we could find the family.

Can anyone add anything to the history?

    Regards,

    Nick
