I thought that was to stop cats crapping in flower beds ?? Seems to work for dogs too. Maybe it's because we're upside down. What works for cats 'oop North' goes for dogs down here
Careful! Wowtank is a former publican, you're probably revealing his trade secret! Absolutely wicked But my problem is real, leave a horse in a field all day and the moment it is put into a clean stable......
"In a new study of coyotes living among people in the heart of Tucson, Arizona, cats were the coyotes’ most common meal, making up 42 percent of their diet, university researchers reported in the Journal of Wildlife Management. Among scores of confrontations between coyotes and cats, cats were killed more than half the time." "Cat lover Lisa Harris used to let her seven felines roam outdoors – until she saw a coyote waltzing across her front yard. Since then, Dr. Harris, a wildlife biologist who lives in Tucson, Ariz., has kept her cats indoors 24/7." Good on ya coyotes!!
Does anyone know where I can get some basic Bird, Bat and Bug Box making kits, as cheap as possible? I've searched the net and can only find them for sale already constructed. One of the current projects I'm working on is getting the local children on the Plantation to make them and then have them put up in the trees that run along the stream (See Pic 9). Cheers for any web links - they do have to be cheap as chips too
Opened this hoping from the title to see a huge mound of discarded dogs, maybe in Afghanistan, or best of all the UK. Disappointed as ever. I'll have to start building my own doggy tip. Skip + Internet + Saw + Drill + Nails = boxes aplenty.

As for beer and stuff never never drink out of a bottle of beer in the UK from a pub as it is a 90% chance a rat has p**ed lol on the bottle cap. YOU DON'T AND EVERYBODY else don't want to no what goes on in a working kitchen or pub!!! lol

I can send you a scan of a design. Bat boxes are similar, I believe. Wood needs to be this thick for insulation and mounted out of direct sunlight. Entrance hole size is important no more than 29mm (1 1/8inch) to attract tits, larger and sparrows will get in, but not a bad thing.
Drew, top marks for your community spirit and the activities you are helping with (or in fact coordinating?). Wish we had more people of your calibre. I went out earlier to get some cash from the 'hole in the wall' and was disgusted to see about 8 or 10 crisp packets, chocolate wrappers and empty plastic bottles on the pavement within 5 feet of the ATM. There is a rubbish bin not more than 12 feet away. Mike (disgusted, of Hornchurch)
Cheers Geoff...I've seen the plans online for all three. I want around 20-30 self assembly kits to give to each child for them to make.

Some people call that art down here, looks like it could be a pukka Tracey Emin original... call it "chop, skip, dump No33" or somesuch, stick it on ebay for a couple of grand and see what happens -_-
smallvolume $2.89 - 3.40 each I dropped them a line re: shipping cost W rather odd looking. Don't think they meet RSPB spec.
Geoff One time while awaiting the ladies in a very large dept.store in London - about a dozen South Asian "ladies" were congregated in group behind me - minutes later I was overwhelmed by a stench- while the "ladies" disappeared - they had changed an infant by tearing open a new Package of Disposable nappies - taking out a fresh one and leaving the soiled one in it's place. On informing a staff member - she merely shrugged and said that it happen all the time ..... Cheers
